# AlSayad Studio
## Small blocks. Big possibilities.

Make your first program. Understand the code. See it work on a board.

AlSayad Studio is an independent, local-first visual electronics environment in development. It brings visual blocks, inspectable ESP-IDF C and local build tools into one desktop workspace.

### The idea

That first blinking LED is the moment an idea becomes something you can see and change. Studio aims to make this first step approachable while leaving room to understand what happens underneath.

The product direction keeps a useful free local application. No AlSayad account is needed for the free workflow. Offline use is designed around a provisioned local toolchain; full disconnected setup remains under validation.

### What exists today

- Local desktop projects, recovery, Notes, Guided/Professional interfaces and light/dark themes.
- Visual blocks generating ESP-IDF C, with compiled firmware fixtures.
- A Windows x64 reference ESP32-DevKitC build/upload/serial workflow demonstrated on real hardware.
- 23 documented ESP32 board/module profiles and firmware compilation coverage across 10 chips. These are not 23 bench-tested boards.
- Three editable guided lessons and a screen designer with labels, buttons, switches, sliders, images and built-in/external display modules, including a round GC9A01 panel. Board and classroom acceptance remain pending.
- Signed declarative lesson/example packages, developer tooling and optional service foundations, with no public marketplace or production service.

There is no public download or beta yet. Unsigned installers are internal test artifacts. Apple Silicon macOS is a required target, but complete release acceptance is pending. Intel Macs, Linux and mobile are outside initial beta scope.

### What support could help with

If a crowdfunding campaign moves forward, the proposed priorities are:

1. Hardware bench testing and repeatable validation.
2. Clean installation, offline setup and recovery.
3. Windows signing and Apple Silicon verification/notarization.
4. Beginner documentation, tester feedback and classroom pilots.

### What is still an idea

Optional AI, robotics expansion, circuit/PCB/simulation/CAD integrations and a reviewed paid extension ecosystem are longer-term exploration. They are not current capabilities or promised campaign deliverables.

### The challenges

Toolchains, downloads, USB drivers, hardware variants, Mac behavior, release signing and support all require further work. Display firmware compiles, but accepted display-board bench evidence is still missing. Independent development has limited capacity. Scope and timing depend on resources and validation.

### Campaign status

A Kickstarter campaign has not launched. Funding goals, rewards, prices, license terms and delivery estimates are unannounced. No payment or pledge is collected by the website.
